Will Small Life Changes Lead to Big Results? Yes.

Will Small Life Changes Lead to Big Results? Yes.

It’s about small, controllable life changes.

It’s a balmy 45 degrees here in Las Vegas this morning. I can’t say I slept particularly well. I toss and turn quite a bit when traveling. Some of that I attribute to a new/different bed. The rest I attribute to my girth. I started an experiment a few months ago… well, that’s not right. I started preparing for an experiment a few months ago.

I have a theory about weight loss that I want to test. And I’ve never been shy about being the Guinea pig. So I’ve been packing on pounds. Las Vegas is the capstone to the “bulking” phase.

More on that later.

To keep pace with my one percent goal, I brushed my teeth as soon as a woke up. So one of at least two brushings is knocked out.

As a family, we are preparing for a trip to Omega Mart. Cole and I saw it on Food Theory, thought it was cool, and so we are trying it out today!

I have one more thing to do before we go through. Being grateful.

That is, of the small life changes I want to undertake in the mornings is being grateful. I’m going to use this outlet as my journal, so it can possibly inspire you to do the same. I’m going to try to focus on the areas of Health, Wealth, and Self.

This morning I’m grateful for being healthy enough to take a trip like this. Yesterday we walked 7.1 miles from casino to casino and show to show. I’m grateful for having a business that allows me the flexibility and financial resources for a trip like this. And I’m grateful for this new journey we’re on together. It’s hard to start any new path, much less take the second step. Harder still to do it in public.

Day 2 of becoming one percent better by using small life changes is underway!
